Thailand International AI Film Festival – 2nd Edition
The 2nd Thailand International AI Film Festival, or Thailand International AI Film Festival 2026, is an international film festival that provides a platform for filmmakers, storytellers, digital artists, and creators who use artificial intelligence in their creative process to submit their Films for festival screening, competition, and the exchange of new perspectives on the film industry in the age of AI.
The festival is organized to support the creation of Films that integrate AI technology and Hybrid Filmmaking with quality, responsibility, and consideration for standards related to rights, transparency, and ethical use of technology.

Event Format
The 2nd Thailand International AI Film Festival is organized as a film festival together with an awards platform overa 3-day period.
The main activities include screenings of Films from the Curated Film Program & Short Film Competition, Talk Session, TIAIF Networking Night, Finalist Screening & Awards Ceremony.
The festival screenings are divided into 2 main formats: the Curated Film Program and the Short Film Competition.
Films in both categories must have a duration of 7 to 15 minutes, including end credits.
The festival aims to serve as a platform for AI Film and Hybrid Filmmaking creators who wish to present their Films to international audiences,
while opening new conversations on the future of cinema, technology, and creativity.

Thailand International AI Film Festival 2026 aims to create an international platform for AI Film and Hybrid Filmmaking, while promoting standards for responsible, transparent, and verifiable AI use.
The festival seeks to connect Thai and international filmmakers, encourage knowledge exchange in the creative media industry, and elevate Thailand as one of the key regional centers for AI Film and Creative Technology.

The festival will take place from 29 to 31 July 2026
At the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), Bangkok, Thailand.
Background and Rationale
Artificial intelligence has become an important part of the global film and moving-image creation process, from concept development, screenwriting, image and sound generation, and art direction to post-production.
The growth of AI Film has created new opportunities for creators to experiment with more diverse forms of storytelling. At the same time, it has created the need to establish standards for transparency, rights verification, copyright respect, and the responsible use of AI.
Thailand International AI Film Festival 2026 is therefore organized as a central platform to present, curate, and elevate Films that use AI or Hybrid Workflow in the creative process, while supporting Thailand as one of the key spaces for AI film festivals in the region.
